Books & Bakes Book Club


A fortnightly book club to read and discuss chosen books and enjoy talks by local authors.


If you enjoy reading and sharing your thoughts with others, then this might just be the group for you. Join the fortnightly meetings which will include book discussions and talks by local authors. The group meet every other Monday (starting 9th August) at The Institute, Grays Road, Grangefield.

Chosen books:

August – The Restaurant by Roisin Meaney (discussion 23rd August)

September – The Memory Keepers Daughter by Kim Edwards (discussion 20th September)

October – A Duty to the Dead by Charles Todd (discussion 18th October)

November – Where the Crawdads Sing by Debra Owen (discussion 15th November)

Celebratory event taking place 29th November.

Author talks tbc.

£3 per person, per session (of £5 total if you join both this and the needlework group that meets before this one).
